Life doesn't always go as planned. There always seems to be something that comes up that throws everything a bit off whack or puts a damper on a completely lovely day. Whether you start the day off on the wrong foot with a semi-catastrophic event or if you just have a few minor inconveniences that throw everything off canter, there are countless unfortunate events that remind us that karma exists. If you want to see some of the funniest and most bizarre in life's series of unfortunate events, this is the list for you.
Accidentally Left Behind the Proof in a Hit and Run
You always have to be on the lookout while you're driving. Even if you are extra careful and make sure to follow all the rules of the road, there is always a risk that the other drivers in your vicinity are not following any of the rules. This person was driving peacefully when someone coming from the other direction ignored a stop sign and pummeled right into them, causing a crash.
Although they tried to just hit and run in order to get away with it, karma had a different plan and they ended up leaving behind a little something that could identify them.
Looking for a Castle, Found Only Clouds
Who doesn't love to hike to a beautiful view? It is one of the best parts of traveling. You put in all of your effort, excited for the reward that will come at the end. This man had that level of excitement when he went to go and see Neuschwanstein Castle with some friends. However, it seems like Mother Nature had her own plans for that day and they wouldn't be seeing anything except some fog and clouds.
They probably could have seen that coming when they started their hike, however, since it's unlikely that the rain and fog came on that strongly so suddenly. But maybe they wanted to try anyway and hope for the best.
Losing Your Glasses on a Cliff
This is probably every glasses wearer's worst nightmare, especially if you have a high prescription. This man was doing some pretty intense rock climbing and cliff climbing with his glasses on when all of a sudden the moment of horror befell him. His glasses slipped off his face and down the entire cliff, probably never to be seen again except for in this photo. This photo captured the exact moment of tragedy.
Hopefully, he was able to complete the hike successfully. If he had a high prescription it probably would be hard for him to do without the full use of his sight.
Snowing Inside the Garage
A garage serves a few main purposes, but the main one is definitely to keep some things safe and secure from the elements outside. Many people use the garage to protect their expensive cars and to keep them safe from flooding, debris, and snow. However, in this case, it looks like the blizzard had a different plan. Nothing could be done to stop the snow from entering this garage and taking over entirely.
The cat looks just about as shocked as everyone else. That would probably take ages to clean and hopefully, there wasn't too much damage to the goods that were stored inside.
The Least Juicy Lime on Earth
It is so exciting to grow your own food in your yard. There is nothing better than having your own fruit trees or planting your own vegetables, or even just growing your own herbs. It also usually comes with big expectations. You hope that the fruit will taste better than what you buy in the store so that it can be at least worth all of your time and effort.
This person could not have been more disappointed in the fruits of their labor when they cut open this lime and found the least juicy lime that ever existed.
Karma Was Out to Get Him
Imagine you are driving to work one morning. You think that everything is going to be alright and your day will be pretty average and ordinary. However, life has a different plan and your car breaks down and has to be towed. You then head home for a little rest after the bad experience and arrive home to see this sight. You sit down in your living room and then suddenly your entire ceiling collapses on top of you.
At that point you might be wondering what you did to upset the karmic forces of the world. After all, that is a lot to be handed in just one day.
A Spider Infested New Car
There is always a bit of risk involved when you buy second hand items. Whether it is the risk that the items might not work or the risk that they might not be the cleanest, this person person got the worst case scenario when they bought a new van. Although the van drove quite well, they noticed that there were a lot of spider webs appearing quite often and they decided to get it checked for bugs.
The result of the bug test was the worst possible case. The entire van was infested with spiders. At least they noticed it before it was too late and they took over the whole car.
When You're Allergic to Just About Everything
Allergies are not fun. Whether they are allergies to dust or flowers or bees or different types of foods, they are a hassle. This person was feeling that they were possibly allergic to different things and so they decided to do an allergy test. The test checked allergies for 69 different things. They never expected that the end result would be that they would be allergic to 60 out of the items.
They probably were quite uncomfortable for a while after this test as well. After all, they did have 60 different allergic reactions at once. That can't be comfortable.
One Box of Nails Gave 30 Flat Tires
Although it probably was not funny at all for the people who were driving along peacefully when they suddenly got a flat tire, it is slightly comical that one small box of nails was able to give flat tires to this many cars at once. You might even be convinced to think that the nails were placed on the highway on purpose, just to see how many cars they could nab.
Maybe it was actually a scheme for the businesses that deal with car tire replacements. Not everyone has a spare tire so they probably gained a lot of business that day.
Battle Between a Tornado and a Home
Tornadoes can be some pretty powerful things. It is scary to see the damage that they can do when they hit. Entire homes can be destroyed in a matter of seconds. This home, however, seemed to put up quite a fight when the tornado came around. Although the tornado managed to rip the entire house from its foundation and place it in the middle of the street, the house managed to stay in one place.
It is pretty impressive that the house was able to stay all in one piece despite the winds that would normally shred it to pieces in a matter of seconds.
When You're Allergic to Cats and Sleep Near a Cat
Allergies are a very annoying thing to suffer from. After all, you need to actively make sure to avoid certain parts or things on earth at all times, if you want to stay feeling healthy or comfortable. It's not always easy. This person is allergic to cats and yet they somehow ended up accidentally sleeping on a cat's bed. They woke up with one half of their face entirely swolle and puffy.
Luckily the allergy was not more serious and they were able to walk away with just some swelling. It would have been scary if they lost the ability to breathe properly.
Stove Renovation Plans Will Have to Wait
It is pretty normal that, at a certain point and time, you want to try to fix up your house and renovate certain aspects that may have been ignored over the years. This person's grandparents decided to renovate their oven one year. Except when they opened up the oven to see if everything was okay, they found a few animals living very cozily inside. They naturally postponed the renovations until a later date.
Any of the inconveniences aside, these little animals look so cozy and comfortable in there. It would be a shame to remove them from their home just to renovate something that the owners don't even use.
The Reason to Always Use a Handbrake... In One Photo
Although many people do not use the handbrake when they park their cars, as they don't always feel the need, this image is reason enough to always use it, even if you are not parked on a hill. Someone who was placing their car on a ferry for transportation forgot to put the handbrake on and this was the end result. It looks like there was no recovering from that one.
Hopefully they have some insurance that can cover for a mistake like this one, otherwise their expensive car will just rot at the bottom of the sea.
When You Look Too Much Like a Wanted Criminal
There isn't much you can do when you fit the description of a wanted criminal exactly to the tee. It is not that common, however, that is exactly what happened to this man in his home town. Posters were placed all over the town to urge people to be on the lookout for this wanted criminal. It is no surprise that the man in the photo underneath was stopped by the police.
It is also no surprise that he had a hard time convincing them that he is not the man in the photo. Maybe they would believe him only if he had a twin to take the blame instead.
The Most Mysterious Pile of Gravel
In some ways, it is nice that life is a mystery. That is what keeps things interesting. However, this man seems to be on the receiving end of the stranger things of life and it shows in this photo. He came home from work one day to find this massive pile of gravel on his driveway. There was no note or description or explanation. He was just gifted a mysterious few tons of gravel.
What do you even do with gravel if it is not something that you ordered or wanted in the first place? How do you even get rid of it? Maybe sell second hand gravel.
When You Take the Wrong Pair of Shoes
In a world where you can go into a store and buy something that is likely the exact same or very similar to what many other people would buy, this is probably not that shocking of a story. However, this person went to a trampoline park for a fun trip. When they finished they put on their shoes (or what they thought were their shoes) and walked home, thinking everything was normal.
The only thing was, they were not even their shoes. Although they were the exact same as their shoes, they didn't wear the blue sneakers that night and accidentally stole another person's shoes.
The Worst Place to Park Your Car
When you park your car outside and leave it to the elements, you never really know what can happen. There are always natural disasters or crazy events that can put your car in the danger zone, however, an event like this you would probably never expect. After all, what is the likelihood that a tree would fall right in that spot where the car was parked? It almost seems like it is intentional.
It seems like this man has some karma that was taking revenge at that moment. The tree was mad that the car was destroying the environment and decided to take action.
A Butthole in the Wedding Pants
If there is one thing that is certain about a wedding day, it's that you want to look your best. It is the one time in your life that all of your family and friends are gathered around and they are watching you on one of the biggest days of your life. This man had the unfortunate experience of his pants ripping in the bum during that exact moment.
The worst part about this story is that he had chosen to go commando that day. It looks like the entire wedding party saw a lot more than they were expecting to.
Not the Best Way to Paint Your Car
There is something so exciting about buying new paint for a new apartment or house. You are thrilled to spruce up the place and do a little DIY to make it feel like home. You go to the paint store, pick out some paint, and head home. However, life has a different plan and the paint is not going to make it to the house at all. Instead it spills all over the entire car.
There isn't even really a way for someone to fix the car at that point. They can clean the paint a bit, but it will never fully be removed.
Two Years of Work Gone up in Flames
There is nothing worse than spending years of your life building something or working towards a goal only for it to be destroyed in a matter of moments. This person spent two years of their love chopping firewood, enough firewood to last a very, very long time. They stored it all in a barn and they finished and reached their goal when life showed them a different side by burning the whole barn down.
You have to admit that this was a pretty flammable situation. After all, a barn full of wood certainly had something to burn off and keep the fire going for a while.
First Day on the Job Luck
It seems like sometimes karma really is a b%&$. That is exactly what happened with this poor man. He was unemployed for about nine months and was unable to find work that was not just something temporary or part time. Once he finally signed on a job that was permanent, excited to start his work day, he has a terrible accident. On the first day at work he slips on the carpet and this happens.
Looks like he is going to be unemployed for quite some more time at this point, unless he can find a job working in front of a computer.
A Cactus in Your Hair
If you thought getting chewing gum stuck in your hair was a bad thing, welcome to the world of getting a cactus stuck in your hair. At least with gum, you can usually get it out without actually hurting yourself, however with a cactus, even if you wear gloves, you might still be hurt. And it's not like she can just cut out the affected hair since it is over her entire head.
You can see the look of complete sadness on her face here. Whatever events led up to this moment she was greatly regretting as she pondered a solution for a difficult problem.
Accidentally Shooting Your Neighbor
If you don't know how to manage a gun, then you probably shouldn't be having one sitting around in your house. Imagine living in your apartment, sitting peacefully in your bed, when all of a sudden a gun shot goes off and you feel it hit the bed you are sitting on. You then look up and see that there is a gunshot that went through your ceiling from the apartment above.
Apparently, this was an accident and the person just accidentally shot their gun for whatever reason. But imagine if someone was in the wrong spot at the wrong time. It wouldn't be such a funny accident in the end.
The Attack of the Boars
Anyone who lives in an area where there are a lot of wild boars knows the danger and risk that they pose. Not only are they surprisingly massive animals, but they can also be quite aggressive (especially when it comes to their babies). However, even if they aren't protecting their babies, sometimes they decide to just attack and ransack random yards like this one in the middle of the night.
It seems like it would be nearly impossible to even fix your yard and your grass after something like this. It would take forever to repair.
When You Heat the Oil a Little Too Much
Nothing hits the spot quite like some homemade french fries. They are just as delicious as the ones you buy with your burger, only they don't come with all the unhealthy oils. However, one thing to keep in mind if you are deep frying at home, is don't leave the oil to heat alone for a long period of time or you might just end up coming back to a house that looks like this.
It probably wasn't worth the french fries craving at that point. It's the most expensive food craving in the history of the world once they do all the repairs.
DIY Tattoo With a Cooking Tray
If you ever want a cheap tattoo, you can always follow in the footsteps of this person who accidentally ended up branding herself with a pan that was too hot. The pan also had some writing on it, a person's name to be exact, so they ended up branding the name of their friend on their arm. Hopefully, the burn and the scar didn't last too long and healed quickly.
People might think it is a bit strange if they were to have the name Rachel Ray tattooed on their arm out of choice. It makes more sense that it was an accident.
When a Pimple Swells Your Whole Face
Cystic pimples are the absolute worst. Not only are they extremely painful, making sure that you can never forget their existence, even if they aren't even that noticeable, but they are also usually quite predominant and obvious. This man had a cystic pimple that just kept swelling and ended up swelling almost his entire face. Nothing he could do even made the swelling better, he just became more dymorphed as it got worse.
People really need to see the before picture here though so they can understand how much his face was swelling up in this moment. He turned into an entirely different person.
When the ATM Shuts Down in the Middle of a Transaction
ALthough technology can definitely be a great thing, it can also be a scary thing. After all, it can malfunction and cause various issues that probably wouldn't happen if a real person were involved. This person went to deposit money in the ATM when all of a sudden the machine decided to shut down. The money was taken but the transaction was not recorded on the person's account and they were not able to prove anything.
Hopefully, they were able to get their money back in the end, but it's hard to prove when it is a machine against a person's word and there is no proof of how much money was involved.
Crashing a Porsche on a Test Drive
Although it makes perfect sense that someone should be able to drive a car and take it for a test ride before they purchase it, especially if it is such a large and expensive purchase as a Porshe, it is also quite a risk. After all, you never really know what kind of driver a person is and if they can be trusted. This is the prime example of that risk as the person totally crashed the Porshe on a test drive.
That seems like quite a bad crash as well. They went right into a tree, not just a small bump while parking. Hopefully, everyone inside the car was okay.
An Entire Hive of Wasps in Your Car Wheel
You might start out your day thinking that everything will be normal and calm and that nothing too out of the ordinary will happen, however, the interesting thing about life is that you really don't ever have any idea. This person went outside to his car during a work break and found that an entire hive of wasps decided to make his car wheel their new home for the foreseeable future.
What can you even do at that point and how did the wasps manage to get the hive built so quickly, from the start of the work day until break time?
Chopped Onions Instead of Chicken Nuggets
This doesn't seem like the definition of a Happy Meal, especially for a kid. Most kids just want to have a nice little happy meal full of chicken nuggets and fries, not raw, chopped onions. You can only hope that they were able to get a refund for the strange meal and that they didn't have to fight for a new happy meal that was not just chopped onions.
From the looks of it, they had already reached home by the time they realized that the food was not correct. Maybe they weren't able to go back out and replace it.
When You Break Both of Your Feet
It seems quite unlikely that someone would be unlucky enough to break both of their feet at the same time. You have probably also never seen someone who has to wear two full foot casts at the same time. How does the person even walk around? Maybe it actually makes it a bit better because they don't have to limp from the imbalance that is caused by just wearing one.
There are so many options of things that could have happened to cause this. Maybe they slept walked or maybe they were dancing or maybe they just slipped and fell clumsily.
Broken Door Handle, Cut Hand, and Locked in
In the latest series of unfortunate events, this person was simply trying to open the door to their apartment when everything fell apart....quite literally. They just grabbed the door handle (as any normal person would do) and tried to open it. When they attempted, the door handle broke apart and they ended up slicing their hand in the process. But the best part is that they were then locked inside the apartment.
You can only hope that they were able to find someone who was able to come and fix the door for them so they could get out, and maybe help the hand wound as well.
The Toothbrush Is Never Safe
It seems like it would be a good idea to put a cover on your toothbrush when you are not using it. Not only does it protect the brush from any bacteria or dirt or dust that could get onto it, but it also protects it from falls and the like. However, apparently, it does not protect it against stinkbugs that want to use it as a cozy little place to snuggle up in.
The little stinkbug looks so cute that it almost appears as if the person should just let go of the toothbrush and donate it to the stinkbug for a new home.
Don't Cry Over Spilt Kitty Litter
One of the best parts of having a cat is that you don't ever have to take the cat outside for a walk or make sure that they go to the bathroom outdoors. You can just set up some kitty litter and they will learn that this is where they should go to the bathroom. The only downside to this is that they are very loyal to their kitty litter and that means that wherever there is kitty litter, there is urination.
Even though this is just some spilled kitty litter, this cat looks more than ready to give it a try right there on the floor.
Taking a Bite of Raw Chicken
There is nothing worse than sitting down in front of your freshly ordered food, excited to eat it when you realize that something is wrong. This person ordered a fried chicken sandwich and took the first bite. Then they looked down and saw that something was not right at all. The chicken was not cooked even in the least bit, it was completely raw and not edible in the least bit.
There is something so nauseating about raw chicken, especially when you are not expecting it to be raw and are thinking it would be cooked. Not to mention unsanitary!
Fireworks That Exploded in the Trashcan
Fireworks are all fun and games until people don't know what to do with them when they are done or they don't know how to put them out safely. It seems that these people who bought some fireworks didn't know how to make sure that they were disposed of safely, especially the unused ones, and they ended up exploding them in the trashcan of the apartment complex by mistake.
Considering they were probably some pretty strong fireworks, it seems that the damage done was actually quite minimal. It could have been a lot worse.
When Your Bike Breaks Completely in Half
When you first see this photo you are probably wondering how someone even got into this position at all. How is it possible for a bike to break in half completely? It seems like something that only happens in a cartoon. However, apparently, it happens in real life as well as this person's bike broke completely in half just eight kilometers from their house and their end destination. They almost made it!
It's a shame that the bike couldn't last just a little bit longer and they could have made it home before cracking in half.
Invasion of the Bugs
This photo really looks like the start of a horror film. Can you imagine coming home after a long day at work and seeing this as the entrance of your house? It would make sense if you just left and never looked back. After all, the bugs might have made their way into the house as well and at that point you might as well just call it a loss.
Maybe they are essentially harmless bugs like crickets, but that doesn't make the sheer number of them any less terrifying.
All They Wanted Was a Rotisserie Chicken
If you want to buy a rotisserie chicken, make sure to do it at a different grocery store than wherever this woman goes and does her shopping. After all, she seems to be collecting all of the rotisserie chickens in the area and not even leaving one behind. This almost looks like it was taken in 2020 when everyone was stocking up on one thing just because they were scared the world was ending.
The funny part of this photo is that is someone said it was taken in 2020 then no one would be surprised.
